External Quality Assessement Schemes

The CTQ is an external quality assessment schemes provider for participants located all around the world. Participating laboratories receive a detailed statistical report for each of the rounds for an easy evaluation of their performance. An assigned value with an acceptable range is provided for each analyte.

The CTQ online store is opened to everyone looking for quality control samples (laboratories, hospitals, etc.) It proposes, at a very competitive rate, biological proficiency testing materials (PTMs) that are not freeze-dried, both stable and homogenous, and delivered on time according to national and international guidelines.

The Proficiency Testing Materials are available for the five CTQ assessment schemes:

Organic Substances in Urine (OSEQAS)
Metals in Biological Matrices (PCI)
Multielement materials (QMEQAS)

The Centre de Toxicologie du Québec (CTQ) is a public organization within the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) that offers environmental, clinical and occupational human toxicology expertise.

Since 1972, our laboratory, which holds ISO/IEC 17025 and 17043 accreditations, has been offering its services in analytical toxicology not only to the health network of Quebec, but to external clients from around the world.
